Hi everyone,
This review is my first English review in blog. So, i am very excited :). I apologize for grammar mistakes. Please, if you read this post, you write a comment before leave.
Milk and Honey was published July 2017 in Turkey. In a few days lots of Turkish readers loved so much it. I thought, they were exaggerating and then i decided to read it.
Firstly, i liked the book. I did not really think i would like the book. Now i understand why readers loved so much it because the book responds to the needs of today's readers. I marked lots of page and I will share some of them.
The book consist of four chapters: The Hurting, The Loving, The Breaking and The Healing. The chapters contain many theme such as love, pain, separation, rape and etc. . The author preferred to tell these themes through family and gender relations. Also there are the author’s illustrations in the book. They are pretty cool. I think. This is a feminine work, but the book and the author are successful for this reason.
Milk and Honey is one of the books I can recommend. The author’s language was impressive.
